Recent Events

• Everything went great and we even had a real dog take part in the production!

• This is the 5th year HCS has put on a talent show. This was quite the event and featured a variety of talents the students are able to exhibit. It sometimes features alumni performers and has at least one alumni serve as a judge ?

• This is the first year we have held this event. It was organized as a fundraiser for HCS. This past weekend, April 30th – May 1st, a number of bands/artists put on concerts and in between there were a number of other activities going on including three separate auctions. Great thanks goes out to the many volunteers that helped organize and make it successful as well as the artists who performed for free--all for the sake of trying to help HCS financially. There has been a lot of positive feedback so we will hope to make it happen again next year even bigger and better!

Upcoming Events

• Friday, May 28th
• Performances at 1 pm and 7 pm
• Party/gathering for ANY alumni after the concert in the North gym – come fellowship with us!

• HCS puts on a number of sports camps for a very reasonable price throughout the Summer. If you are interested in finding out information about what camps will be offered and other details about each you can check the Heritage website or stop in the administrative office for brochures.

• This year HCS will host a luncheon for the following graduated classes: 2005 (5 years), 2000 (10 years), 1995 (15 years), 1990 (20 years), 1985 (25 years), and last but not least 1980 (30 years). Each of those classes combined makes up 271 alumni. We hope to see as many of those as we can to reunite and share what has happened in our lives over the years. Heritage will share the journey it has been on and we would love to hear some of your stories.
• This will take place on Saturday, October 9th which is also Homecoming Weekend.
• Each individual class is welcome to additionally do their own reunion, just for their class, if they like. Some are already in the making!

Praises

• ECCU recently agreed to eliminate our $9 million debt! This is HUGE!
• MusicFest was a great success and raised around $12,000 for the school.
• Heritage Games raised a little over $90,000 this year. It was short of our goal but we are thankful for every bit!

Prayer Requests

• Pray that the Lord will bring new families to HCS. Despite rumors, we ARE open for school next year!
• Pray for our administration and school board as they make decisions and plan for our future.
• Pray for our current teachers and students to finish the year strong!
