Mrs. Danielle Matthews

Heritage Singers Director

Mrs. Matthews graduated from Columbia College of South Carolina with a BA degree in Music Education and an emphasis on vocal performance.

Danielle has a life changing love for God and using the gifts He has given her to impact children’s lives for Him.

She began teaching in public schools, but chose to teach in Christian schools in 1997 where she has had the joy to lead drama productions, participate in musical performance competitions with honors, and form a student worship team curriculum including band, multimedia productions, and vocal performance.
The Heritage Singers is an auditioned vocal ensemble, consisting of ten high school students who share a desire for ministry, worship and evangelism. This group has the opportunity to sing out in the community approximately 40 times each year, presenting the message of Christ through their music. Under the direction of Mrs. Danielle Matthews, the Heritage Singers strive for excellence, recognizing that God expects us to give our best in all we do. These young people are proof that God still works through our youth today. As they pour their hearts into this ministry, the Lord uses their music to bring others to know Him.

Auditions for the Heritage Singers take place each May, in preparation for the next year. Classes are held daily during regular school hours. Ministry opportunities take place after school hours.
