Mr. Schroeder received his bachelor’s degree in 2004 and his M.Ed. in 2012 both from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. After graduating from Cedarville, Mr. Schroeder served as the education director for Gospel Mission, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio for three years before joining the HCS faculty in 2008. He has spent the past 9 years teaching 6th grade and has taken on various responsibilities working to enhance the services HCS is able to offer to students who may find traditional academics a little more challenging. Mr. Schroeder is in his first year as the educational support services director for Heritage and is looking forward to serving families in this new capacity.
Mr. Schroeder is thankful for his wife Sarah and sons Joshua and Christopher. Sarah is a Title 1 reading teacher with Catapult Learning and a great source of wisdom in helping struggling readers. Joshua is a second grade student at HCS and loves all things science. Christopher is a part of this year’s kindergarten class and wants to be a police officer although being a superhero might be near the top of the list as well.
