Mr. Tom Thompson
Mr. Thompson has been teaching math and science at HCS since 1989. He graduated from Wheaton College with a BS degree in Physics. He went on to earn a Masters degree also in Physics from Michigan State University. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching physics and calculus at both the college and high school levels.
He serves as our department chair in both subject areas.
Mr. Thompson loves to teach critical thinking and effective problem solving skills both in the classroom and in the laboratory. He is a very effective instructor and mentor of his students. His wife Jennifer also teaches at HCS. They have 3 children, all graduates of HCS.
