Mrs. Reid was born into a large family with 15 siblings. Her mom and dad taught them the importance of education. She took accounting classes and social economics classes at M.A.T.C. and attended Bank Teller Institute which led her into Banking and Customer Service jobs.
Later, after becoming married to a wonderful man, Mr. Kenneth G Reid, Jr., they prepared to serve in the community. Ambretta applied to child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) and New Tribes Bible Institute where they both took courses to be effective in reaching children through Good News Clubs/5-Day Clubs. All the intense training helped her see the importance of developing good study habits which she teaches students at Heritage as Study Hall Monitor.
When not working at Heritage, Ambretta enjoys scrapbooking and being with her family.
