Educational Support Services
Educational Support Services Director
Mr. Schroeder received his bachelor’s degree in 2004 and his M.Ed. in 2012 both from Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio. After graduating from Cedarville, Eric served as the Education Director for Gospel Mission, Inc. in Dayton, Ohio for three years before joining the HCS faculty in 2008. He spent 9 years teaching 6th grade, taking on various responsibilities to enhance the services HCS is able to offer to students who may find traditional academics a little more challenging. As the Educational Support Services Director, Mr. Schroeder is dedicated to helping students succeed.
Eric is thankful for his wife Sarah and sons Joshua, Christopher and Nicholas. Sarah is a Title 1 reading teacher with Catapult Learning and a great source of wisdom in helping struggling readers.
Heritage Christian Schools seeks to offer a high quality and distinctly Christian education to the full body of Christ. This includes students with mild to moderate learning disabilities and academic deficits. The Educational Support Services (ESS) program works with parents and classroom teachers to facilitate services needed by these students so they can grow and thrive in the school environment. Heritage participates in the State of Wisconsin's Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP), which will cover the fees associated with Education Support Services for students who have a current IEP.
Heritage Christian Schools' Educational Support Services team includes a director and four faculty members, plus a Title 1 teacher from the School District of New Berlin.
Fees for the ESS program are in addition to the cost of tuition, with the exception of services provided via Title 1 or SNSP.
