Miss Abigail Thompson

Theater Director

Miss Thompson is an alum of Heritage. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Northwestern--St. Paul with a BA in Vocal Performance and Bible, and a minor in Theatre . Being a Bible teacher, choir director, and theatre director at HCS, she is so grateful that God has led her back here to make use of all of her skills and passions.

At home, she reads books by dead British Christians and watches Masterpiece on PBS. In the summers, she travels all she can, and produces Christ-centered plays with her company, Royal Bird Theatre, LLC. Also, she has a modest comic book collection.

Students learn the basics to the complex of characterization, theory of design and direction, acting, make-up and more.  The Heritage Players perform two major theatrical productions each year and a Drama Showcase in the Spring.
Come see the High School production of Robin Hood and His Merry Men!  Death and taxes.  Prince John had no issue with causing the former if the good folks of Nottingham refused to cough up the later.  Enter Robin Hood of Locksley and his merry (aka funny) men to save the day and a fair maid named Marian.
Performance Dates:
  • Thursday, November 16th at 7pm
  • Friday, November 17th at 7pm
  • Saturday, November 18th at 2pm & 7pm

All performances take place at the Middle/High School Campus (3500 S Glen Park Road)
