Ms. Caroline Buetow

Ms. Caroline Buetow has been teaching art for 15 years throughout Milwaukee, Chicago, Ireland and Washington, D.C.

Ms. Buetow has been involved in Christian education for 6 years and has been teaching art for 15 years. She is also a professional artist, completing several commissions each year. She is thrilled to join the staff of this year as two of her children are students at HCS. She has a B.F.A degree from the Corcoran College of Art and Design (2004), and a Masters degree in Art Education from Concordia University-Wisconsin (2021). In 1999, she was awarded a scholarship residency for drawing at the Burren College of Art in Ireland.

Ms. Buetow enjoys drawing, hiking, cooking and collecting antique cookbooks. When not at school, Ms. Buetow can be found on a local hiking trail with the loves of her life, her three children and furry child, Charlotte, Ben, Cora, and dog Daisy.

In the Visual Arts, Heritage Christian students explore a variety of art mediums during the year at all grade levels.
