Elementary School at Heritage

A Christ-centered foundation where young learners are known, encouraged, challenged, and prepared to grow in faith, character, and academic confidence.

A Strong Beginning for Lifelong Learning

Heritage Christian Elementary School provides a nurturing and academically rich environment where students build the foundational skills they need for future success. Students are guided by caring teachers who intentionally support academic growth, spiritual formation, social development, and personal responsibility.

Through Bible, reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, specials, classroom community, and hands-on learning, students are encouraged to wonder, discover, practice, persevere, and grow.

Elementary Learning Priorities

Christ-Centered Formation

Students learn in an environment where biblical truth is integrated into classroom instruction, relationships, decision-making, and daily routines.

Strong Academic Foundations

Students develop essential skills in literacy, mathematics, Bible, science, social studies, communication, and critical thinking.

Joyful Discovery

Hands-on activities, classroom projects, specials, field trips, and meaningful experiences help students connect learning to God’s world.

Elementary Program

Kindergarten–Grade 4

The elementary years provide a strong academic, spiritual, and relational foundation for students as they grow from early learners into increasingly confident and capable students.

Whole-Child Development

Heritage supports students academically, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and relationally. Teachers work closely with families to help students grow in responsibility, kindness, perseverance, and confidence.

Prepared for What Comes Next

Elementary students are prepared for the next stage of learning through intentional skill development, classroom routines, age-appropriate independence, and a growing understanding of what it means to follow Christ in learning and life.

Academic & Enrichment Experiences

Bible

Students learn biblical truth, Scripture, prayer, worship, and what it means to live as followers of Christ.

Literacy

Reading, phonics, writing, vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and communication skills are developed with care and consistency.

Mathematics

Students build number sense, problem-solving skills, mathematical reasoning, and confidence with foundational concepts.

Science & Social Studies

Students explore God’s creation, history, geography, community, and the world around them through engaging instruction.

Specials

Students participate in additional learning experiences that may include art, music, physical education, library, technology, and other enrichment opportunities.

Field Trips & Activities

Age-appropriate trips, projects, events, and classroom activities help extend learning beyond the classroom.

Partnership with Parents

Heritage values a strong partnership between home and school. Teachers communicate with families, encourage student growth, and work alongside parents to support each child’s development.

Elementary students benefit when school and home share a common commitment to academic growth, biblical formation, responsibility, and joyful learning.
