Middle school is a significant season of growth and transition. Students are developing greater independence, stronger academic expectations, deeper relationships, and a clearer understanding of who they are becoming.
At Heritage Christian Schools, middle school students are challenged to think deeply, work responsibly, lead humbly, and live faithfully. Teachers intentionally guide students through these important years with structure, encouragement, accountability, and Christ-centered care.

Middle School Program
Grades 7–8
Middle School provides an intentional two-year experience designed to prepare students for the increased rigor, responsibility, and opportunities of high school.
Purposeful Transition
Students learn to manage greater academic expectations, multiple teachers, personal organization, healthy peer relationships, and increased responsibility within the school community.
Prepared for High School
Through strong academics, biblical formation, leadership opportunities, and relational support, students are equipped for success in high school and beyond.

Bible
Students deepen biblical understanding, worldview formation, spiritual disciplines, and personal ownership of faith.
Core Academics
Strong instruction in English, mathematics, science, history, and biblical studies prepares students for academic success.
Communication Skills
Writing, speaking, presentation skills, discussion, and collaboration are strengthened across academic disciplines.
Fine Arts & Specials
Students participate in music, art, physical education, technology, and other enrichment experiences that support whole-student growth.
Leadership Opportunities
Students are encouraged to serve, lead appropriately, participate in school life, and contribute positively to the community.
Athletics & Activities
Students may participate in athletics, clubs, and student life opportunities that strengthen friendships, responsibility, and school connection.

The middle school years require strong partnership between school and home. Heritage works closely with parents to support students academically, spiritually, relationally, and emotionally during this important stage of development.
